Boundaries are sexy because they show others that you value yourself, respect yourself, and have the confidence to communicate where your limits are. Displaying boundaries also means that you don’t allow others to walk all over you, use you, or dictate how you live your life.

Boundaries allow you to keep your "Personal Power" (internally) without giving it away. When you are people pleasing, you give away your power (externally) and are not being authentic to yourself. When you are authentic, you are aligned with your beliefs, values and identity. You don't feel pressure to conform, which makes you attractive to the right people and will repel the wrong people.

Boundaries create comfort for you! No one can define what your limits are because they are exclusive to you. Boundaries also act as a line in the sand. If someone crosses that line, you take action to communicate that someone has crossed a threshold. You also don’t permit others to “talk you into” accepting discomfort or inconvenience.

I wanted to spruce up the boring topic of boundaries, because women need to understand how attractive boundaries are. When you lack proper boundaries, you become a "people pleaser". Being a people pleaser isn't very attractive, because you convey the message that you will tolerate terrible behavior and willingly accept discomfort, to make someone else happy.

• Maybe you've heard from different sources that you need to have better boundaries.
• Maybe you know you need better boundaries, but don't understand what they are.
• Maybe you know what boundaries are, but don't know how to create them.
• Maybe you struggle with enforcing boundaries even though you HAVE created them.

My name is Keely May and I struggled with all of the above problems. Not knowing what proper boundaries were, not understanding how to create them or even enforce them. Through my own life experiences, some insight, introspection, reflection and a lot of research, I was able to figure out where my pitfalls were.
